Rock the Ridge MTB

So I did a mountain bike race!!!  I think I'm avoiding marathon training.  I'm not too ADD but deciding to do a MTB race after not having ridden ah bike in several weeks is a sign of something.  I did not finish the race (surprise?) but not for lack of fitness or unfortunate mechanical.  I got lost, I missed a turn 3 times and rode an extra 45 minutes looking for it, oh well.   I did, however, gain some flat tire karma points by giving out not just a tube, but my entire wheel to a fellow racer going for the win.  It was great to be back out there, I had lots of fun and maybe will start to train again...maybe.

I'm Back...sort of

Training began last week for the NYC Marathlon. Thats right, the 2011 NYC marathon....the one that is less than 8 weeks away.  My workouts since last August are viewable in the previous post.  You can't find them?  Oh that's right, I haven't done any! Today, however, I did run 3 miles!  The extra 23 on race day should be no problem, right?....right?
